Shikyo Vs. Gin ~ Spar (Duo RP Sample)

The area freeze had already been set up, any damage would be negated when it was released, which was a good thing, Karakura Town didn't need any more damage bills after the hollows taking out so many buildings.

The sky was blue with the odd cumulus cloud passing over head. Casting a vast shadow over the town.

Shikyo was lying down in mid air, hundreds of feet above the tallest building in the town. His straw hat was pulled down over his eyes, and he seemed to be sleeping. He still wore his captains kimono even though his squad was etched off the back. His sword lay beside him, with his left hand rested on the scabbard.

A zip seemed to open in the area, about quarter of a mile infront of Shikyo, the darkness spreading open, as if two shutter doors were being pulled apart.
Gin was revealed as the 'zip' opened, stepping out of the Garganta and looking down at the town below him.
Hm, seems some bastard's put up some kind of barrier. commented Gin simply, noting the Shinigami ahead of him and tilting his head.
Hey! how did ya' do that? he asked, referring the the barrier.

Shikyo sat up, leaving the straw hat behind, and slowly brushed his hand through his hair from front to back. He stood, attaching the scabbard too the short metal chain hanging from his waist.

"It's an area freeze, you used to be a captain, surely you should know that. I simply don't wan't to cause the humans any more trouble."

Waving his hand in the general direction of the Garganta as it closes, Gin begins to walk forwards,
So you used an area freeze...you planning on keeping that permanent? he asked, his grin staying in place.
This guy isn't a Captain...he knows about me.

"Keep it permanent? No of-course not, only until you have been removed from existence. Which shouldn't take long."

Shikyo had entirely sealed his rietsu. He still held the scabbard with one hand, he pushed the hilt, revealing an inch of the impossibly sharp blade. He grinned back at Gin baring his teeth, he canine's abnormally sharp.

Woah, doggy. mocked Gin, reaching inside of his robe to grab ahold of Shinso's hilt.
Wouldn't want ta' have to get rough, now would we? he asks mockingly, placing one foot infront of the other.

"Is there any need for that Gin? I hear your incredibly powerful, I'm no match for you, me the watcher of Karakura town." He said retaining he smile.

Maybe not, but i'm not gonna take any chances. commented Gin simply, unsheathing Shinso and holding it by one hand infront of him.
Your Reaitsu...you're masking it, correct? he asked, getting ready.
Heh, this guy needs ta' be taught a lesson.

"Well done, guess there's no need to anymore then, are you sure you want this, Ichimaru?" His grin turned to more of a smug smile and his eyes narrowed sightly, awaiting Gin's Reply.

I don't particularly want anything...except dried parmissons, they're delicious. he said, patting his stomach and licking his lips.
Go ahead, I guess. he said, wondering what was to come, I can't wait.

"Your choice."

Shikyo's smile was now gone, he blinked once and then it happened, a huge amount of black rietsu began radiating from him, the building below shuddered, many collapsing. Only the 'earthquake proof' building remained and even they were struggling to remain standing. It felt like the whole world shook. The noise was immense, a deafening rumble, seemingly rising through the earth's crust.

It took a moment but then it calmed down, under control again by Shikyo.

Nice, you're just about doing my job for me. said Gin, looking at the destruction below him.
This could be a tricky one. he commented, beginning to lower through the air, Shall we take this to ground level?

"Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakudo 61! Rikujōkōrō! I think we'll stay in the air don't you."

Heh, he's afraid of what destruction we can wreak on ground level. though Gin, using Shunpo to appear about fifteen metres behind Shikyo to avoid the Kido.
Afraid of figting on the ground? he asked, still holding out Shinso.

Shikyo had already turned to where Gin was about to 'appear', he could see the movement easily.

"Of course not, my sword is far more powerful on the ground. And when I release the area freeze, any damage done will instantly be repaired."

You must be proud, like a kid with a new toy. he said mockingly, noting how fast Shikyo was.
I presume you know about my abilities? most of them, anyway.. he said, moving Shinso around a bit.

"I'm aware of your sword yes, and I am aware you have bankai, however what it will do surpasses me, judging from your shikai, it is very long, and most-likely more manoeuvrable?"

i'm not telling. said Gin, waiting for the first move, wondering who would make it.
As a gentlem'n, i'll give you the honour of makin' the first move. he said politely, raising one hand to his chin, the sleeve hanging down.

"Shadows cover all, Zetsumei, rise! Eyes see all, Boushi, Awaken!"

There was a flash and the back of one of the two black blades was almost touching Gin's neck, the other sword was drooping down to the right.

Shikyo jumped back, "I only used the back of my blade because i was expecting you to block it..."

Heh, maybe I didn't block it because I saw that back of your blade. Gin responded in an equal tone, shaking his head, as if ashamed with Shikyo. Two Zanpaktou, huh? that's rare. he commented, looking at the blades, Ya' need two to protect you? he asked, his grin intensifying as his body seemed to shimmer before disappearing and appearing again at a 90 degree angle to Shikyo, pointing at him,
Hado 1; Sho. he muttered, casting the Kido.

Shikyo held up one finger and entirely absorbed the attack. He hadn't bothered turning this time, but had simply adjusted his eyes to have him in his full vision.

"Let me tell you something, Ichimaru. My swords allow me to travel faster than the fastest shunpo, or even sonido. I know you are fast, but you are nothing compared to me."

Heh, he sure is cocky. thought Gin, clapping slowly,
So ya' can block low-level Kido, now I know more about ya' and I can use that to my advantage. he stated, trying not to give anything away about his techniques.
So you've released Shikai, huh? What can it do? he asked with obviously faked enthusiasm.

"Care for another spoiler? It's amazing that you would class a number 89 kido low level."

Tellin' me that's no fun. Gin complained, sighing a little, Let's test jsut how fast that Shunpo of yours is. he said, calling it Shunpo to annoy him.
Gin suddenly disappeared again, appearing on the other side of Shikyo, slightly behind him, aiming to slash his back as he flew past at amazing speed.

Shikyo's sword had blocked, smashing into Gin's with enough force to throw a house several kilometres. Shikyo's movement was to fast to see by anyone. He had turned, raised his left sword, smashed it into Gin's and returned to his previous stance in less than a thousandth of a second.
